NOBLE FOODS has appointed a new chief executive in the latest of a series of changes to the firm’s senior leadership team.
Duncan Everett will join the egg packer at the beginning of September after a career spent with food manufacturer Kerry Foods and will replace current chief executive Dale Burnett.
Mr Everett joined Kerry Foods’ graduate programme in 1995 and progressed through a range of senior finance roles, including chief financial officer, before becoming chief executive in 2017.
It follows the appointment of Jerome Saulet as commercial director at Noble Foods and the departure of Veli Moluluo who was managing director of the firm’s consumer foods division.
Mr Everett said: “Kerry Foods has been a fantastic and enjoyable experience and the team and I have delivered robust results.
“I will always be thankful for the opportunities and confidence that the team had in me.
“I’m excited about the potential that Noble Foods holds and the role I can play in creating a sustainable future for the business and the brands under its wings.
“It almost doesn’t bear saying – these are extraordinary times that has stress-tested the resilience of every person in the food industry.
“The stories that I’ve heard from the team at Noble Foods fills me with the confidence and excitement that we can drive the business forward despite the turbulent times the UK is currently facing.”
Noble Foods’ owner Sarah Dean added: “Duncan embodies the values that are extremely important to us as a family business.
“He is committed to fostering a proud culture while also encouraging teams to take risks and challenging them to look for new ways to connect and build relationships with our partners, from farmers to retailers, consumers and our business customers.”
Ms Dean added that Mr Burnett had delivered “outstanding results during his 12-year tenure at Noble Foods”.
“Under his watchful eye, both The Happy Egg Co. and Gü have grown to become brand leaders in their respective categories.
“Dale will be splitting his time between the golf course and travel, and we wish him every success for the future.”
