POLICE are appealing for more information after thieves stole more than 220 solar panels from a Lincolnshire poultry farm.
It is thought the theft took place on Tuesday, 16 November, at the free-range egg unit in the village of Stickney, near Boston, Lincs.
The theft took place during a flock turnaround meaning the site wasn’t being as closely monitored as usual, farmer Tom Craven told Lincolnshire Live.
Thieves took solar panels and inverters, which were worth more than £70,000, he added.
Lincolnshire Police said: “We are appealing for information after the theft of 220 solar panels and two high-value inverters.
“The theft took place on Midville Lane in Stickney on 16 November.
