AVARA FOODS has launched a new website offering recipe ideas for families with leftover turkey this year.
The integrator, which is one of the UK’s largest turkey producers, said it recognised that some families might find themselves with more turkey leftovers than usual.

So its new website, www.christmasturkeyleftovers.co.uk, offers consumers a range of interesting ways to repurpose their Christmas roast on Boxing Day and beyond.
The site promotes 12 recipes including Christmas pizza with turkey and cranberries, turkey and stuffing sausage rolls and turkey tacos.
It will be promoted on product packaging, Avara said.
Reducing food waste
Jacqueline Fennell, head of new product development at Avara Foods said: “We’re strong advocates of reducing food waste and recognise the festive season is one of those times hosts want to ensure there’s lots of choice for everyone, so often over-cater.
“The likelihood of this is increased this year with potentially fewer people visiting one another, so we’re pleased to share recipes to help combat wasting any turkey leftovers.”
