MOY PARK has announced that its chief executive Chris Kirke will leave the business “to pursue other opportunities”.

A spokesperson for the business said that, over his six-year tenure, he had “demonstrated outstanding leadership”.

A statement continued: “Chris Kirke has chosen to leave the company to pursue other opportunities.

“We thank Chris for his exceptional contribution, dedicated service and commitment to Moy Park’s success and we wish him every success on his next endeavour.

Mr Kirke was appointed in 2018 and prior to his role at Moy Park led convenience food manufacturer Greencore Group’s American business.

Pilgrims Europe

He replaced Janet McCollum, who had more than 25 years’ service at the poultry integrator, which is Northern Ireland’s largest private employer.

Moy Park forms part of Pilgrim’s Europe, which is headed by Ivan Siqueira.

Mr Siqueira was appointed in late 2023 and said at the time he had an ambition to generate greater collaboration between Pilgrim’s European businesses, including Pilgrim’s UK, Moy Park, Pilgrim’s Food Masters and Pilgrim’s Shared Services.
