Editorial Standards and Corrections

Accuracy and sourcing

Poultry Network aims to publish accurate, fair and clearly sourced reporting. Facts, figures, quotations and documents are checked against the most authoritative source reasonably available before publication. Where information originates from a company, trade organisation, government body or other interested party, that source is identified.

Right of reply

Where reporting contains a significant allegation or criticism of an identifiable person or organisation, Poultry Network will normally seek an appropriate response before publication. Any relevant response received after publication may be added as an update.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error to editor@poultry.network. Material factual errors are corrected promptly. Where a correction changes the meaning or substance of an article, a dated correction note is added explaining what was changed. Minor spelling, grammatical and formatting amendments may be made without a correction note.

Updates

Developing stories may be updated as further verified information becomes available. Articles display their original publication date and, where appropriate, a separate updated time.

Commercial independence

Advertising, sponsorship, directory participation and event partnerships are managed separately from editorial decisions. Commercial relationships do not guarantee favourable coverage or prevent legitimate reporting.

Artificial intelligence

Artificial-intelligence tools may assist with tasks such as transcription, document analysis, research organisation, formatting and image production. No news article is published without human editorial review. Facts, quotations and figures must be checked against source material, and the responsible editor remains accountable for the finished article.

Complaints

Editorial complaints should be sent to editor@poultry.network with the article title, URL, details of the concern and any supporting evidence. Complaints will be reviewed by the editor and a correction, clarification, response or explanation issued where appropriate.
