TWO poultry sheds at a farm close to Driffield have been razed by fire.
On Friday, 2 July, Humberside Fire and Rescue attended the farm at around 7pm, saying that two large poultry houses were well alight.
Initially, six fire appliances, an aerial platform and a command unit were attending the incident.
Later on, the fire service said 45 firefighters were in attendance and called on people to avoid the area.
The sheds were stocked with hens, it is understood.
A spokesperson for the fire service told Hull Live that each shed housed about 25,000 birds.
