A PORTFOLIO of five poultry farms in the north east has been listed for sale by land agents George F White.
The five farms, previously used for broiler breeders, have been listed due to owner retirement, with guide prices ranging from £300k to £625k.

Four of the five sites come with accommodation, with the fifth a standalone farm with two poultry sheds and a small general-purpose building.
The preference is to sell the five units as one lot. However, breaking the portfolio up would also be considered. Further similar farms may become available.
The sheds are typically timber-framed and would be suitable for continued use for rearing poultry or potentially alternatives, subject to permissions.
The five sites:
Gallows Green Farm, near Dalton, Thirsk, is a 1.15a holding with two sheds extending to 21,693 sq ft adjacent to the A168 with a guide price of £300k.
Boundary Farm, near Tollerton, has a three-bedroom bungalow with two poultry sheds extending to 20,473 sq ft and a guide price of £425k.
Warthill Farm, near York, has a three-bedroom bungalow and poultry sheds of 42,776 sq ft. It also has an office and egg sorting room and a guide price of £575k
Charity Farm, near Thirsk, has a three-bedroom bungalow and poultry sheds of 20,114 sq ft.
And Dalton Gates Farm, near Darlington, also comprises a three-bedroom bungalow with poultry rearing space of 26,528 sq ft split across five sheds. The guide price is £450k.
