GRESSINGHAM has launched a branded range of whole geese into major supermarkets in time for this year’s festive season.
The firm said it hoped to revive the tradition of a goose at Christmas, once a staple of the Christmas table “renowned for its dark meat and intense flavour”.

Birds will retail across several supermarkets this year, including Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Tesco and Ocado.
The birds are raised in small flocks on a Suffolk farm and are free-range. They graze on grass as well as having access to a wheat-based diet.
They will be sold in three weight bands, 3-5kg, 5-6kg and 6kg. Prices will vary, the company said.
