ICELAND is selling fresh Polish breastmeat in its stores for as little as £4/kg.
It claims the new lines, which are branded as “Butcher’s Market Class A”, are the lowest price chicken in the UK.
The supermarket’s skinless and boneless breast fillets are selling for £1.50 for 300g, £4.00 for 850g or £8 for 2kg.
In contrast, Tesco is offering a 300g pack of British chicken breast fillets for £2.50 or a 1.6kg pack can be picked up for £8.95.
