COBB-VANTRESS has appointed Roy Mutimer as managing director of its Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
The poultry genetics giant said Mr Mutimer, who has worked for Cobb for 25 years, would be based in the UK after serving Cobb “in nearly every region around the globe”.
He was most recently vice president of operations and will be well known to many producers in the UK poultry sector.
Mr Mutimer will oversee production, sale and technical service of grandparent and parent stock across the EMEA region as well as serving in a global capacity as part of the animal welfare team.
“We have a bright future with Cobb Europe, and I’m looking forward to supporting our customers across the region,” said Mr Mutimer. “I’m extremely proud to be part of the Cobb EMEA team and look forward to further contributing to this team’s success.”

Mr Mutimer and his family are currently relocating to the United Kingdom from the company’s global headquarters in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and is expected to be settled by October 2020.
