Sandhill Veterinary Services, an independent poultry vets serving farms from the midlands to Scotland have announced an expanded practice.

Following the retirement of founding vet, Richard Byas, directors Dan King and Laura Langstaff formed Sandhill Veterinary Services LTD and has relocated the practice to a larger specialist premises at Barker Business Park, Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Mr King described the changes as an investment in the long-term future of the poultry sector.

“This required a larger, modern site and equipment to meet the growing poultry and laboratory workload.

“Sandhill cover from the Midlands to Scotland and focus on providing a practical and client focused approach, predominantly to the independent producer.

“For many sites this is delivered through bespoke flock health and production service plans.”

To mark the expansion, an open day will be held at the new premises on 19th April.
