FOR FARMERS has said key account manager Mark Brightmore will move to a new role as a business support specialist.

Part of the new position will be trialling a broiler performance app that the firm is developing.

The new job evolved from a “recognised need to provide hands-on, on-farm support, not only to help broiler customers improve performance but also to provide a vital link between the customer, account management and the technical development teams,” a For Farmers spokesperson said.

Mr Brightmore has worked for the firm since 2015 and was “central” to the development of the Apollo range of broiler diets.

Part of the new position will be rolling out a performance app currently under development.

The app will aim to provide daily feedback and real-time tracking while monitoring performance against breed standards.

It will also report any issues as they arise, which will enable Mr Brightmore to pinpoint any support requirements.

The spokesperson added: “For Farmers is both proactive and reactive when it comes to innovation and supporting poultry farmers across the industry.

“The For Farmers nutritional innovation centre is consistently developing products and tools that support the market’s changing demands.”
