Emily’s passion lies in animal welfare, building trusted customer relationships and collaborative teamwork, Zoetis said.

“This is a key role in our business and needs to be highly customer focused.

“We took a long time making sure we found the right person and Emily fits that role perfectly,” said James Porritt, Zoetis national sales manager for pigs and poultry.

“I’m really looking forward to Emily joining our team as she has an excellent background and we’ve had some really good feedback from our customers on the appointment.

“She joins John Kenyon, Kaska Talpa, Amy Rogers, Steve Braithwaite and Chris Durham in making a strong team to serve the poultry industry.”

Born in Kent and educated in Surrey, Emily gained a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science at the University of the West of England Bristol and went on to qualify as an animal therapist running her own business specialising in horses and dogs.

In 2008 she moved into teaching at a large agricultural college in Gloucestershire and spent nine years lecturing, predominately in animal management and equine, specialising in teaching students with special educational needs and challenging behaviours.
