The egg packer will also support the charity through volunteering and food donations as well as donating directly to Magic Breakfast through sales of the happy egg co-branded eggs.
The charity provides nutritious breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn and offers expert support to their schools.
Magic Breakfast also campaigns for long-term solutions to end hunger as a barrier to learning.
Donating breakfasts
As part of the partnership, a new on-pack promotion will soon roll out on over 480,000 packs of the happy egg co eggs, where one breakfast will be donated for every three packs purchased across a combination of pack sizes, including 6 Medium, 6 Bulk and 10 Large packs.
Noble Foods is also gearing up to happy egg co eggs to the charity’s partner schools. It will be the first time that eggs are included in the Magic Breakfast provision.
Initially supplying 30 schools, Noble Foods has the ambition to roll this initiative out to more schools later this year based on a successful trial period.
‘Partnership’
Duncan Everett, Noble Foods’ chief executive, said: “We unanimously agreed that a nutritious breakfast and the ability to learn were two causes of great importance to all of us.
“I’m very humbled to embark on this new partnership with Magic Breakfast, both from our corporate support and through our collaboration with the happy egg co. – A truly perfect synergy and a project everyone at Noble Foods is incredibly proud to stand behind.”
Emily Wilkie, director of fundraising and development at Magic Breakfast said: “We’re so excited to be partnering with Noble Foods, a company that truly values the importance of a nutritious breakfast.
“As well as welcoming their generous support through donations and volunteering opportunities, which will help us to reach more children and young people at risk of hunger, we’re thrilled to be working with Noble Foods to explore broadening the range of nutritious foods on offer at Magic Breakfast’s partner schools.”
