St. Ewe Free Range Eggs has launched a new free-range liquid egg range for professional kitchens, aimed at helping foodservice operators improve efficiency, reduce waste and deliver consistent results during service.
The range is made from 100% British free-range eggs and is available nationwide in 1kg ready-to-pour cartons across three formats: whole egg, egg white and egg yolk.

The Cornish egg producer said the range had been developed with chefs and industry professionals to provide the flavour and performance of shell eggs in a more convenient format for busy kitchens.
St. Ewe said the liquid egg products are suited to a range of applications, including scrambled eggs, baking, pâtisserie, sauces and hollandaise. The eggs are cracked, filtered and pasteurised using technology designed to protect flavour, texture and functionality, while giving kitchens food safety reassurance and a longer refrigerated shelf life than shell eggs.
The company said the product had been designed to reduce the time and mess involved in cracking and separating eggs, while also supporting stock control and waste reduction.
Taste and performance
Bex Tonks, CEO, farmer and founder of St. Ewe Eggs, said: “Launching our new free-range Liquid Egg range marks the next exciting chapter in our story. We’ve taken the same high-quality free-range eggs our customers know and love and developed them into a format that works perfectly for professional kitchens.
“By working closely with chefs, we’ve ensured it delivers the same great taste and performance they expect from our shell eggs, while offering the consistency, convenience and efficiency that busy kitchens demand every day.”
Louise Hutton-Bailey, head of operational excellence and projects at St. Ewe Eggs, said the business had invested in pasteurisation and filling technology to maintain the quality of the egg from shell to carton.
Awards
“To preserve the natural qualities of the egg and elevate liquid egg in professional kitchens, we invested in the very best technology, designed to minimise heat exposure and gently handle eggs from shell to carton,” she said.
The launch follows a series of business award recognitions for St. Ewe. The company has been named in the FEBE Growth 100, which recognises fast-growing founder-led businesses, following recent inclusion in The Times Fastest Growing Companies list and recognition in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
St. Ewe, which works with 55 independent British farming families, has grown into a £73m business and says it is Europe’s first B Corp-certified egg packer.
