CELEBRITY chef Tom Kerridge has teamed up with premium turkey producer Copas Turkeys to launch a line of ultra-premium turkeys this Christmas.

Prices for a whole bronze turkey start at £145 for a 4kg bird, rising to £175 for a 6kg bird that feeds 12-14.

Also included are trimmings such as 12 pigs in blankets, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce.

The turkeys are available to order from Mr Kerridge’s website, with a limited number on sale from Marlow restaurant the Butchers Tap and Grill.

Both Tom Kerridge and Copas Turkeys are based in or close to Marlow, with the Copas family rearing turkeys in the area since 1957.

Birds are free-range and slow-grown in small flocks. Once at slaughterweight, they are dry-plucked and game hung for two weeks.

In a blog post about the new launch, Mr Kerridge said: “Christmas is truly a day of celebration.

“You should be able to relax, which is why we’re dedicating ourselves to producing these award-winning turkeys and bringing them to your table for Christmas dinner.”
